The 1984–1985 UK Miners' Strike

The wheels of fate make a return, giving the guys an event from 1985 to do an episode about. For this retrospective, Jamie and Milo explore the miners’ strike that ran from March 1984 to 1985 in the UK. The strike is considered one of the most violent industrial disputes in Britain, pitting friend against friend, family against family, and a powerful union against the government. It also resulted in the death of three people, thousands of injuries, and many lost jobs.
