Indian Summer (1993)
During the last episode of season 7 of “The 80s and 90s Uncensored” podcast, Jamie recommended people should see the movie “Indian Summer” without having seen the movie. So, Jamie and Milo sat down and watched the 1993 film written and directed by Mike Binder to see if it is worth watching this summer. Note: This video has a couple swear words in it.
HouseSitter (1992)
In this episode of Overlooked, the guys review the 1992 comedy ‘HouseSitter’ starring Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn. Martin plays an architect who builds his own house to not live in. That is, until he visits it to find a cute con-artist living there played by Hawn.
Better Off Dead (1985)
In this episode of The 80s and 90s Overlooked, the guys review the 1985 film ‘Better Off Dead’ by Savage Steve Holland. This is the first of two films that Holland made with John Cusack. The film follows Lane Meyer (John Cusack), who after his girlfriend dumps him for a ski-jock, decides to kill himself. However, he consistently fails at this as well, until a challenge to a ski-off with the jock gives him some motivation to live.
Electric Dreams (1984)
In this episode of The 80s and 90s Overlooked, the guys review the overlooked 1984 film Electric Dreams. The film follows a man and his computer who both fall in love with the same woman.
Directed by Steve Barron, and starring Lenny von Dohlen and Virginia Madsen.
